Sydney FC have been crowned A-League Premiers for the 2016/17 season, winning the prestigious Premiers Plate.

Melbourne Victory’s failure to defeat Brisbane Roar means they can’t catch the Sky Blues who are 11 points clear, with only three matches remaining in Victory’s season.

FC Sydney have won "pole-position" and home advantage in coming play-offs, where they qualified to last four. Semi-finals and Final are played on one winning game.
